Online UPS system with tower cabinet, 6 – 10 kVA
The JOVYTEC L(arge) is available with ratings of 6, 8 and 10 kVA. Systems in this range can be operated in online mode in accordance with VFI-SS-111, but can also be operated in offline mode by means of the supplied software. The advantage of this mode of operation is the very low energy consumption. Moreover, the UPS systems in this series also have what is known as a free-wheeling mode. This means it is possible to set the input frequency to a range of 45 to 65 Hz. The UPS system, however, keeps consumers constantly supplied at a precisely specified frequency. UPS systems in the JOVYTEC L type series also have a generator mode.
In the event of distortion or voltage dips, this prevents the UPS system switching constantly to battery operation and keeps it in online mode to supply consumers with a sinusoidal output frequency.
