Self-cleaning automatic fi lters DN/NW 40 - NW1000 (ANSI 2“-40“)

250-year-old physical principleimplemented into filtration practice

A disc that is moved by a pneumatic piston generates a high local increase of the flow speed between the disc moving into the filter and
the filter insert. The thus-resulting decrease in pressure cleans the filter using no contact, with the particles escaping through the flush valve
which, while in the open position, generates a pressure differential until reaching operating pressure, and thus discharges the particles.
Due to its outstanding fluidic design, the filter only generates a very low pressuredrop for the system. The results are significant energy savings in
comparison to conventional so-called backflush filters. The flushing water quantities are so low that the systems can be generally operated without
any further investments in modification to the system. The filter is delivered with an electronic multi-function unit. All functions are monitored
and the setting of parameters as well as an optimisation is enabled.
An integration and activation of the system using the customer‘s own measuring stations and monitoring systems is also possible without any
problem.
