The Materials
The variety of application areas for the fi lter requires a large array of housing materials. The filter is manufactured in both steel and rubberised steel, stainless steel 1.4571, bronze, GRP/FRP (glass fibre reinforced polyester / fi bre reinforced polyester), PVDF or PE, and other special materials.
The use of high-quality composite materials such as GRP reinforces the advantage of the fi lter system in regards to the resistance of the material and the weight saving, as well as high mechanical quality. This material is very well-suited to saltwater cooling systems or cooling water systems with added chemicals.
